It is certain that confrontation is a form of reporoach, the only difference being that it does not happen up close, since when we face a dying city we have to be very, very close, to bid farewell to it well, since confrontation can only happen face to face.
عندما تنظر الى مدينة من الأعلى تراها تبادلك النظر كأنّ السطوح هي وجه المدن. لا يمكنك أن تعاتب مدينة الّا من الأعلى، من المكان الذي تلقي منه الرّوح نظرتها الأخيرة قبل أن تعانق السّماء. لابد أنّ المواجهة هي شكل من أشكال العتاب، لكنّ الفرق الوحيد هو أنّها تحدث عن قرب، فعندما نواجه مدينة تنتهي ينبغي أن نكون قريبين جدّا، أنّ نودّعها جدّا، فالمواجهة لا تأتي الّا من ملاقاة الوجوه.
