Ticket sales will contribute in recording & releasing a new Vala Wind album
In this concert the group chose to play 4 pieces which best represent their project "VALA WIND".
Vala Wind is is defined as a world music band, adept at fusing styles: (Dakka Roudania, Malhoune, Amazigh …) a fusion of the music of Taroudant and the region with other musical international styles.
The major idea of this album is to treasure and compose into music old poems from "Malhoune" (Grihat), from old poets who work on the social, religious, and sentimental life of the daily life of the inhabitants of the city.
The objective was to revive and Integrating international musical rhythms to the cultural and musical heritage of Taroudant and the Souss region (Daqqa, Roudania, Gnawa with Traditional instruments like taarija or souissi), to reward poets and traditional artists and to bring generations together by fusing beats from rock, reggae, pop & folk music or jazz and Irish ballads.
