Tajalli is a cooperation between Syrian and Lebanese musicians, they met in Beirut. Each one worked and played Sufi music for at least 10 years. The band is based in Lebanon, playing original contemporary Sufi Music combined with Sufi poetry. The band was founded by Zakaria Al Omar, Abdullah Jatal and Tarek Bashashe in 2015.
Tajalli has at the moment a repertoire of original 14 compositions composed by band members and combined with Sufi poetry of Sufi poets such as, Jalal Aldeem Al Rumi, Ebn Alfared, Ebn Arabi and Rabiha Aladawya.
In our compositions we seek to Reach to the statue of Tajalli (Transfiguration) while also adding Sufi poetry to give us the impulse needed. We want our souls to be connected, at the same time driving the audience to the same place. We believe that music is the most peaceful and beautiful means available to us. We hope our music will speak for us.
تجلّي هي تعاون بين موسيقيين سوريين و لبنانيين إلتقوا في بيروت. كل واحد منهم تمرّس و عزف الموسيقى الصوفية لعشرة سنوات على الأقل. تتواجد الفرقة حالياً في لبنان، و تقدم معروفات أصلية من الموسيقى الصوفية المعاصرة ممزوجة مع الشعر الصوفي. تشكلت الفرقة على أيدي زكريا العمر، عبدالله جطل، و طارق بشاشة في عام ٢٠١٥.
لدى فرقة تجلّي حالياً برنامج يتألف من ١٤ مقطوعة من تأليف أعضاء الفرقة ممزوجة مع الشعر الصوفي لأهم شعراء الصوفية مثل جلال الدين الرومي، إبن الفارض، إبن عربي و رابعة العدوية. في مؤلفاتنا نطمح للوصول لحالة "التجلّي" مع إضافة الشعر الصوفي الذي يعطينا النبضة اللازمة لذلك. نريد لأرواحنا أن تتصل، و في الوقت ذاته أن نرشد الحضور إلى نفس الإتصال.
نحن نؤمن أن الموسيقى هي أجمل و أسلم وسيلة نمتلكها، و متاحة لنا، و نتمنى أن تعبّر عنا.
